An M.P is calling for a public inquiry into the battle seven former careworkers have fought against the British legal sysytem. Orpington M.P John Horam is backing The Bupa Seven, so named after they spoke out about the treatment of elderly residents in one of its care homes.

The group took Bupa to an Employment Tribunal in 2000 claiming they were forced out of their jobs after reporting abuse of residents in Isard House. They were unhappy with the ruling which stated they should have considered their own safty before complaining.
